Aisling Bea
Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born on 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series since 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to regularly appear on sketches and sitcoms. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel programs. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. She is only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she was thirteen. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional jockey. Her family were obsessed with horses and race meetings. When she was a child, Bea employed as an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she was not interested in the racing industry for a profession, but instead loved performing.
